Privacy policy

This policy explains what Pit Stop Roadside Services LLC ("Pit Stop", "we") collects when you call us, send a help request or use this website, and what we do with it. We collect only what we need to get help to you, and we never sell your personal information.

What we collect

• When you call or send a request: your phone number, where the vehicle is, what happened and the vehicle's details (year, make, model and color, or a tire size), and your name if you give it. If you tap "Use my location", your browser shares your coordinates with us only for that request.
• When you visit the site: our website host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
• When you pay: payments are taken on the call. If you pay by card, the card details go to our payment processor; this website never collects card numbers.
• When we do the job: the service performed, the price and how you paid. For a lockout, the technician may look at an ID or the vehicle's registration to confirm it's yours.
• How you found us: if you arrive from an ad or a link, the request form records the page you were on and campaign details from the link (for example, a Google Ads click ID), so we know which ads help drivers reach us.

How we use it

• To dispatch a technician, call or text you about your request, and give you a receipt.
• To answer questions, handle payments and keep business records the law requires.
• To understand which pages and ads help drivers reach us, and to improve them.
• To prevent fraud and protect our customers, technicians and business.

Texts and calls

When you call or send a request, you agree we may call or text the number you give us about that request. We don't send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run the business, under agreements that limit how they use it: our website and form host (Netlify), payment processors and our phone provider. We also share information when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.

Your choices and rights

• You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling (214) 367-5302. We'll confirm who you are before acting, and respond within 45 days.
• This site doesn't run analytics or advertising tags right now. If we add them, you'll be able to turn them off with "Your privacy choices" in the footer, and browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal will be opted out automatically.
• If we decline a request, you can ask us to reconsider by contacting us the same way.

How long we keep it

We keep request and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, keep business and tax records, and resolve disputes, then delete them.

Security

This site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to customer information to the people who need it to dispatch and do the job. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send card numbers or other sensitive information through the request form.

Children

This site and our services are for drivers. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
